About Oliver Sissons
Hi, I'm Oli and I officially launched Search Informer in April 2026.
I'm the proud father of two (a little girl and a big golden retriever called Mac), and a big fan of surfing in Cornwall, UK.
After graduating from Bournemouth University with a degree in Public Relations, I secured a role as Marketing Manager for a UK startup where I was tasked with setting up and growing paid media and organic search campaigns.
While working at the startup, I helped drive over £1 million in new revenue for the company and was trusted with managing upwards of £20,000 in ad spend per month. It was here where I first learnt how to execute marketing strategies to drive growth for someone else's business, and learnt first hand the need to maximise return-on-investment (ROI) generated by every pound and pence of a marketing budget.
Next, I moved on to an SEO Executive role at a leading SEO agency here in the UK.
Over the next eight years, I progressed from a junior exec to Search Director and picked up a wide range of technical, strategic and agency growth skills while doing so.
Ultimately, I was owning our client's search strategies and working with the rest of the senior leadership team to drive growth for the agency and deliver the most impactful and effective strategies in doing so.
